Maureen Matei

My name is Maureen, and I am an experienced and passionate educator with over 10 years of teaching in early childhood and primary education across Kenya and Tanzania.

My teaching approach centers on inquiry-based learning, hands-on activities, and creating a supportive environment where learners grow to become confident, critical thinkers. I believe in building strong relationships with my students and encouraging a collaborative learning process that inspires independence and curiosity.

As a science lead, I enjoy guiding students to explore, question, and discover the world around them. I am committed to fostering a love for learning and helping every child reach their full potential.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education and am currently pursuing a Master's in Early Childhood Education and Development. My professional journey continues to be shaped by ongoing training, reflection, and a deep passion for teaching.
