Tanzeel Jetha

Lead Teacher - Year 1

“Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world” Nelson Mandela.

Hello there! I'm Tanzeel, and I am honored to serve as the first-grade teacher at Maple Bloom Elementary. My journey to this role was unexpected, but it has quickly become the defining chapter of my professional life. Since July 2022, I've been an integral part of the Maple Bloom family, cherishing every moment and creating lasting memories along the way. This school has not only been a workplace but also a second home where I continuously hone my skills.

I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education with a strong focus on special needs, from Arizona State University. My passion for teaching was ignited during my time as a first-grade teacher in the United States, and I consider it the most enriching experience of my educational journey. Now, I see my role as a first-grade teacher in Tanzania as a fantastic opportunity, and I'm full of optimism.

Throughout my educational journey, I've had the privilege of gaining valuable experiences in various settings, which have broadened my perspective and enriched my teaching approach. I am genuinely passionate about working with children and giving them the best educational foundation possible. For me, it's all about delivering 100% or not bothering at all. I'm deeply committed to crafting engaging lesson plans and preparing unique activities that foster the optimal learning experience for young minds. I firmly believe that the foundation for shaping young minds is laid in their early years, setting them on the path to success in the world beyond. It's a crucial period where we equip children with the skills and knowledge they'll need in life. I consider it an immense honour to be a part of each child's educational journey, and I eagerly anticipate both the teaching and learning experiences that lie ahead.
